  11. Hi All, its good to be able to post my review on the new board. Got back on Sunday in New York to cold and cloudy skys. What a difference in tempertures. Went from 80s in the Bahamas and Miami to 40s back home. The Dawn cruise was a last minute booking, being a pass passenger NCL sent me a deal I couldnt refuse, a twofer one! There were 5 of us and I had a Handicapped obstructed view cabin. I absolutly loved it. And from now on thats what Ill request for my next cruises. It was HUGH! Worked out perfect for my handicapped son. Left N.Y. late 5:30pm, Quite cold on deck so we watched the departure from front view seats in the forward lounge. What a site to see all N.Y. lit up at night, it was just breathtaking. I love the freestyle dining and the resort casual dress code. There were 10 restuarants on board to chose from, you could dine in any one of them from 5:30-midnight! I spend alot of time in the casino and won on the nickel machines. What a hugh casino it was. The food was excellent! The shows were outsanding! The ciama showed the latest movies, saw 4 of them. The ship itself is outstanding. The ports were Cape Canaveral(stayed on the ship and relaxed) Miami(went to Bayside market place) it was funny to see all the stores all decked out for Christmas and their playing Christmas songs while wearing my shorts! Then we went to Nassau(took a cab to check out the Adlantis casino-hotel) That place is just amazing! Then did some more shopping downtown. We then cruised to NCL private Island but could not tender in because of rough seas. So we got another sea day and a few more Bingos thrown in. I would sail again on the Dawn in a heartbeat. But for now, its back to work with a bad cold. Happy sailing to all! CAROL
