  1. I have sailed on many ships, RCI, Disney (Disney Dream last year) and Carnival...BUT, I am super excited to see the largest cruise ship at sea! Let me know if you have any questions....your turn next. ;)
  2. Thanks for the update KethnRita. 35 Days and counting to my Allure of the Seas cruise.
  3. Oh and what a beautiful ship she is too! The Aqua Duck was a blast and Animators Palace was a nice change, but honestly I am really looking forward to it going back to the original theme on the Fantasy. Sailed the Dream on 4/28/11
  4. Yes! My goal on a 3-4 cruise is to step into the gyn and work out at least once during my cruise. Course' I always take the stairs and swim, bike, walk etc. and try to be as active as possible on my cruises. If the food is really good though, it never fails I'll gain at least 3-5 pounds everytime. :( I am still working off those last frew pounds from my Disney Dream cruise 60 days ago. And yes I made it to the gym at least once. LOL!
  5. I always pick up a Christmas ornament for my tree no matter how many times I have sailed on the ship or what time of year it is. I could now do a small cruise ship ornament Christmas tree. LOL! I also like to grab inaugrual sailing merchandise is available. I don't remember finding anything specific when I sailed the Mariner, but every time I sail Disney they always have tons of stuff available. I have lithographs and or sericels from every ship so far! :)
  6. Happy Birthday Mmketeer!

  7. Lori, welcome aboard the CruiseCrazies ship!

  8. As a avid DCL'er I hope you you too will be as excited about the following information as I am! Email me@ Mmketeer@ AOL.COM if you have any questions. Disney Announces Expansion of Successful Cruise Business Two New Ships will More than Double Passenger Capacity The Walt Disney Company plans to expand its successful cruise business by adding two new ocean liners, President and CEO Bob Iger announced today. Scheduled to launch in 2011 and 2012, the ships will more than double the passenger capacity for Disney Cruise Line® to meet the sustained demand for Disney's family cruise vacations. The new 122,000-ton cruise liners will be two decks taller than the existing 83,000-ton ships, the Disney Magic® and the Disney Wonder®. Each ship will have 1,250 staterooms. Specific design plans and itineraries for the yet-unnamed ships are still in development and will be unveiled at a later date. See ya on board!
  9. Wow, That was very sweet! Thanks for all the bon voyages! PS I guess I forgot to update that I changed my cruise to my home port of Tampa on the Grandeur of the seas. Maybe we'll do SOS next year instead. :)
  10. Nope, I don't purchase it. But, I don't sail during hurrican season and only book when I know I can go and have my ducks in a row so to speak, I don't have any medical conditions and no one I sail with does or I would consider getting it, and I don't fly (I am lucky enough to live in Florida and can drive to the ports I go to). So, I feel I am pretty safe. Now, I know things can happen once on a cruise trip, but I'll take my chances. :) Mmketeer......next cruise's: RCCL/SOS 12/05 & DCL/Wonder 2/06 RCCL: Mariner & Enchantment DCL: Magic & Wonder CCL: Miracle & Fanatsy
  11. Wow, saw the first episode on Sunday. Amazing! I didn't realize when they said it would be dry docked for refurbishment that they were gonna strip it down to the bear metal etc.! This has been a very interesting process to watch and I can't wait for the next one!!! Makes me very excited about seeing the final product myself in December. Wonder if the cruise industry is gonna have to rename the code 'Bravo' for fire now that we all know what it means. Mmketeer
