  4. I'm so happy you got your Docs...nothing like last min..poor you all.. I'd throw the TA overboard if I could..lol.. :wink: ..I did try and change to another TA but the original TA knew I was mad and wasn't happy and she went and put through the final payment b/4 I could change with no notice to us..and I think when she did that it ended up messing with this whole trip..as I think she applied the final payment to the old booking not the new one... I hope to get things all fixed up..and I told RCI to figure it out with the TA !! So I'm crossing my fingers.. we will still go to FLL/Miami no matter what..as we have our airline tickets done.. and if we make the Cruise it will be a bonus...Kids don't know about that part anyway..lol.. Trying to see the bright side of things...."deep breathe in and out"..lol.. :wink:
  5. Thanks for the idea Joey..I have already contacted John about future travel...I agree his customer service has been wonderful... I guess not knowing the in's and outs of Cruising had, put us at a disadvantage..BUT I am much more educated now..lol... but I would not hestitate to use John in the future ... Thanks

Ok, I spent some of the day with RCI..and then them with the so called TA.. its a real mess..I guess the TA who booked us in the begin. had us under a group rate..but then when she didn't get enough for the group..RCI changed it to seperate booking..so when we paid it was under group, except the last payment which paid for everything was put on the old booking..or so I'm told.. But I asked well if the other booking didn't show a payment by the last payment day wouldn't you have cancelled the booking??? they don' know.. So my understanding today..is I have to fax a copy of my Visa statement which shows them RCI getting my money, which to me is really not needed when the money that went from us went to a booking anyway.. So I have to do that today...and then PERHAPS my DOCS can be done..and sent to us... But was warned that all booking numbers have to be right for us to board and with all the names correct as well ..so I have made it very clear all the names so if they don't mess this up..we may actually make this Cruise... :undecided:

I wish I could find one..this being only our 2nd Cruise....and our last TA left so we couldn't use her..and this one came recommended..yeah right..But I agree I've been doing all the stuff myself and she hasn't done a thing.... I'm doing all my own planning from now on....and get help from a TA if needed.."forgot to add that"

  11. Good Luck Mary, I hope you get them.. and have a wonderful time.. Hugs :smiley: I made 3 calls today and was asked 2 times if I PAID FOR THE CRUISE ON TIME!!!!!! I called RCI as well and they won't tell me a dam thing..... I'm so mad and upset by the complete mess of things...
  12. I called two places that we can get phones from..and its $99.00 for a pay as you go phone...plus the card you add so a $ 25.00 card... We don't have the use onc and ditch phones.. Will see if I can get a shuttle to pick us up..even if we have to call from a phone both.. if we pre-pay for it.. why wouldn't they let us?? Not like we won't show up.. :undecided:
  13. Our cell phone only works in Canada.... I'm looking to go from the Port of Miami to our Hotel in FLL...
  14. Can you still board without Docs?? good info to have just incase.. I hope you get yours Mary and I hope they do something for you..all this stress just make sure you get it directly from them..if your TA gets it you may never see it.. Very bad Customer Service no matter what!!!!
  15. I feel so bad for you all... we still have a bit of time..and when or if she ever finds out I hope she will send them over night delivery... NEVER AGAIN with this TA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! worst ever I have ever seen!!! or dealt with!!!
  16. Can we just get something once we come out of the terminal? are there not shuttles and others there waiting to take people?? or is everything have to be reserved?
  17. My TA is MIA..no word from her as we haven't received our Docs yet and she hasn't answered our recent emails.. She did answer 1 when I asked where our Docs were and I got a 'I dunno"... I'm going to call Ace Tours I found online an Super Shuttles as they are allowed in the Port.
  18. I've been trying to get a pick up from Port Of Miami...I just called larry's Limo..and they won't do it b/c we don't have a cell phone to use to call them at the Pier when we get off.. I asked isn't there pay phones but he said they are so busy and sometimes don't work..so he won't book us.. So what I have to get a international cell phone to a Pick up at the Pier.. anyone else have any suggestions??? we can go with the other place for $167.00 and they will be waiting wth a sign...steep but maybe the only way to do this... OYE!!! I had no idea this would end up being such a PITA!!!!
