  1. Who would be interested in a Cruise Crazies Group Cruise out of Miami or Fort Lauderdale a 3 day or 4 day cruise. Let me know. They are having great deals on the 4 day Carnival Destiny this summer, before they refurbish it and change the name to Sunshine. The 3 day Carnival Imagination is a lot more expensive now because of all the upgrades on the ship. I'm not familiar with Royal Caribbean if anyone would like to sail on their ship. Let us know the rates. The 3 day Norwegian Sky also has great deals. What would all of you prefer?
  2. Since I eat so much on the ship, I do cardio for 45 minutes to an hour, and then train with weights for 30 minutes. You can also walk the track outside, use the stairs a lot, or take a class that they offer at the gym. On some port days, I don't make it to the gym since I've walked tons at the port. Don't worry if you're super bloated on a cruise. It is because of all the sodium in their food. It should go down in about a day or 2. So do not weigh yourself the day that you get home. On a normal training day at home, you should do cardio 30 minutes for 5-6 days a week and then 30 minutes of weights.
  3. I always eat healthy and exercise, and allow myself 2-3 cheat meals a week while I'm at home. I avoid fried and salty foods as well as alcohol which is stored as abdominal fat. On a cruise, I eat everything, except alcohol(I don't like it), and train at the gym everyday on the ship. When I return from a cruise, I continue to eat healthy and exercise.
  4. To me the most important factor is the best deal for a 7 day cruise. I live super close to The Port of Miami (45 minutes away)and Ft.Lauderdale(an hour away). The price for the 7 day cruises are super expensive during the summer this year so I will be sailing on the 6 day cruise on The Valor which is my favorite ship. I don't mind sailing to the same ports over and over. There is so much to do at each port. As long as I'm on a ship, I'm happy.
  5. Jason, we are still friends. I have known her since I was 15, but I will not cruise with her.
  6. I will only cruise with family members because we have an understanding that we will do things together and some alone. I cruised with a good friend of over 26 years and when I wanted to go on excursions, she wouldn't bc she wanted to find cheap excursions from vendor's waiting by the ship, while I will only do ship sponsored excursions., she said that since we went together we had to do everything together. I told her no way because I paid for my part of the cruise and will do what I please. We were in St. Maarten, and were shopping close to the ship, but not walking distance. The ship was leaving in 30 minutes, and when I stopped a taxi, she refused to get on it bc she said she needed to smoke a cigarette. I got in the taxi bc I didn't want to miss the ship. She was super mad that I didnt wait for her, but there was no way that I was missing the ship. She missed a flight once with her kids bc she went to smoke. She had to wait 4 hours with her kids for the next flight. She also removed all her tips and asked me to remove mine so she wouldn't look bad. NO WAY. She gave our head waiter and his assistant $3 each for the week. Since then I have only cruised with family members. I would also cruise with the Crazies because they understand that you're free to go on your own if you would like.

  13. Have a great cruise, Cheryl and Wayne!
  14. Thanks Sailingrose, but I wonder why they didn't want the lady that had been on 7 cruises. The attorney with Oceania cruises was the one that got rid of the man that works in the travel industry and been on over 25 cruises. You would think that it would have been the other attorney. Shaunna, I'm so sorry about your client.
  15. So I was on Jury Duty yesterday, and they called in 20 jurors into the courtroom about a slip and fall case on a cruise ship. I don't know if I'm allowed to say which cruise line it was. They only interviewed 8 of the jurors and chose 6. Of the two that weren't chosen, one had been on 7 cruises, and the other works in the travel industry and has been on over 25 cruises. I WANTED TO BE A JUROR ON THIS CASE, AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN QUESTION ME. I'm an expert on cruising. They probably wouldn't have chosen me since I've been on 13, but wouldn't you think that they would choose those who have traveled on cruise ships? The ones that they chose had never been on a cruise ship.
