  1. Looks like all the deposits are in, when do we get room assignment Ol' Great One!
  2. I don't think there will be any question we are onboard!
  3. If anyone in my group causes you to lose, let me know and they are buying the losing beer!
  4. We did not try this the last time on this ship, may have to try this time, it's just the food in the dining room was sooo good not sure it's worth the extra money. I've heard you should plan 2-3 hours for dinner if you go to Harry's, not sure I can sit still that long, and I know if I eat for that long someone will be rolling be out.
  5. The only Rum factory I remember seeing was Bacardi.
  6. According to Carnival's website they have an evening Bacardi tour. When we were there 2yrs ago, they only did the tour during the day. I have heard you don't actually go through the factory but that they have built a musuem and gift shop and that is what you actually tour. I know there was a very nice rum store not far from the docks that had a nice history display and free samples. I'm just not sure of the name.
  7. Moonshine comes in quart jars, these people can't calculate liters! LOL Most know how many times they have been married to a cousin though.
  8. Just one.. his name is Eddie Miles his music sounds good... Wait until you hear Brett that's coming with us. He's awesome, we all call him "Hollywood" when he wears his Elvis sunglasses.
  9. We are all flying in on Fri., some will get there by noon (non-stop Delta) other around 3:30pm and I think a few will not get in until around 9:00pm
  10. Our group all have their airfare. Delta just changed our flight but just by a few minutes, but the price has sure gone up. 8 of us booked Delta non-stop, out of Cinn., everyone else is flying Airtran.
  11. Anyone know when we will be able to see excursion prices on Carnival's website. They say you can book after full deposit is paid but only (1) excursion is coming up with a price. I can only see the dollar signs, do you think it's too early?
  12. I believe this is one of those things that "one size fits all" just fits some better than others LOL
  13. When we were on the Liberty the "Captain's Party" was held not only in the large Show room" but also there were several bars listed that were also having free cocktails, we went to the bar, almost no one there and could get anything and as much as you wanted. Better than the crowd waiting to meet the captain.
  14. I just about choked on my veggie wrap.... LMAO... so now lesson # 1, no need to carry your luggage ANYWHERE !!! Thats what friends named Bil are for...lol No seriously, Do not over pack..... Let me do that and you and Deb can borrow from me.... Ask chuck he has seen me and my amount of luggage....lol I'm the one with the duct tape, the bungee cord, extension cord, sewing kit, scotch tape, sharpie markers, zip lock bags, everyone laughs but they always come to me first when they need something.
  15. Oh YEa!!!!I need to order one too for our cabin!!! Wouldn't that be funny if we all flew flags from our balconys while we were in port! 40 cabins flying the colors of the Troublemakers .....lol Arrr!! How big are the flags that you guys are getting?? Flags!!! We usually just put up a clothesline and hang underwear on it!! Some of the underwear are probably almost as big as a flag. LMAO
  16. Can you ask if they assigned my suite yet ? Too funny, I just dreamed I got a suite, problem was it had about 10 king size beds in it!!!! One big room for one big party LOL
  17. DH & I have had a passport for a few years now, a couple people traveling on this cruise do not have them, and were asking these questions, I think just trying to save the money if not needed. I have recommended having a passport from the beginning.
  18. Great Question...Here is what I am finding.... I'll need to look into this further, but I would say get one. Land/Sea Travel Requirements<] As early as January 31, 2008, U.S. citizens traveling between the U.S. and Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda by land or sea (including ferries), could be required to present a valid U.S. passport or other documents as determined by the Department of Homeland Security in a forthcoming separate rule. While recent legislative changes permit a later deadline, the Departments of State and Homeland Security are working to meet all requirements as soon as possible. We will provide advance notice so you can obtain acceptable documents for land/sea entries. Looks like the key words here are "As early as" (not definate) and "could be required" again not definate. Sounds like with enough heat from tourist areas they could push back date that passports are required again. Extra $100.00 cost for trip that may not be necessary.
  19. Off topic here but I have a question................figured this is a good place to get an answer. Passports, are they required if you are NOT traveling by air for the Caribbean? I know they are a good idea, because you never know, you might have to fly back from somewhere, but is it a MUST HAVE. Everything I've read lately always mentions air travel for the requirements.
  20. Check out this link, sound right up our alley (plank?) http://www.piratesofantigua.com/tours.html
  21. Should have my order all ready in just a day or so. Got most of the new sizes for the women on those v-necks yesterday. Had a great time at our pool party, 22 of us were able to make it. Lots of good food, nice job on the presentations on the different ports we are visiting. Gave away door prizes of Cruzan Rum, travel organizers. Good thing it was on a Sunday or some would still be there.
  22. Great news Chuck, wish I had that much will power! Probably would not have been married so many times either!
