Sheraton Old San Juan

Has anyone gone to the Sheraton Old San Juan lately?

If so, would you recommend it?

We are going on the Crown Princess in November and the cruise leaves from that port and we would like to arrive a day ahead.

Look up the hotel on www.tripadvisor.com. Old San Juan is very close to the port. When we were in San Juan, we met a friend (my law school roommate) in front of a hotel that was a block from the port. It may have been that hotel.

Also take in to consideration which pier the ship will dock at. We had been to PR many times so we just wanted to be closer to the port when we stayed there. If your staying a few days, it should be a great location. Sorry can't help with the condition of the hotel.
