cobragirl
I was told when i booked my cruise that I would need to get a letter from my child's non present parent. I was wondering, how often do I need to show this, do i need to show it to get back on the boat from an island, will I have trouble with it, what should It say. Can it be typed and just signed? thank you in advance
cruiser66
Hi there. I used to work for Carnival so I can tell you what they req, should be the same all around. Usually a notorized letter along with your childs birth certificate should be fine. That is only needed when initially boarding at embarkation. After that, you only need your on board card that the ship issues upon boarding. (Sign and sale card). Hope that helps.
lindasuelucas
i took a grandson and had ALL the documentation i was ADVISED to get, keep, and have on hand at all times. it was never asked for..not once. it even got to the point where i asked them to look at it and was told it wasn't necessary. really knocked my socks off when coming back into the country they STILL didn't ask. this was 2007 well after 9-11.
