Celebrity Cruises next year will operate two golf-themed cruises to Bermuda and the Caribbean. The “Celebrity Cruises Golf Classic Getaway” will operate on the Celebrity Reflection’s seven-night Jan. 25 Caribbean cruise and the Celebrity Summit’s seven-night June 1 cruise to Bermuda.

Play is scheduled at Turtle Hill Golf Club at the Fairmont Southampton and Port Royal Golf Course on Bermuda and at the Mullet Bay Golf Course on St. Martin and Mahogany Run Golf Course on St. Thomas. The package includes lectures and golf instruction provided by TOURAcademy instructors, a cocktail party onboard, golf-themed gifts, priority departure from the ship on golf days, green fees and course gratuities, and transportation to and from the course.

Designed for golfers of all levels, the TOURAcademy program led by instructors John Stahlschmidt and Neil Gunn provides eight hours of instruction, from mastering the basics to generating power and distance. The golf partnership was announced as Celebrity was named the “Official Cruise Line of The Barclays 2013 Golf Tournament” held Aug. 20-25 at Liberty National in Jersey City, N.J.
