  1. Ah, just reading about a sea day makes me relax! First a bit of a sleep in ( say 8 or 8:30) then tea/coffee on the balcony. A buffet breakfast then its the best time of the day!! The time to LAY BY THE POOL AND READ!An osscaisonal dip in the pool and an occaisonal foray to the buffet or pizza place to keep up our strength! LOL We have busy lives, my hubby works full time , I work part time, and we have a business of our own , plus THREE kids under 13, so darn we just want to lay on our butts and read( and not the "Magic Treehouse" or "Arthur" books)and laze around. We vacation only once every five years without our kids (for our 5th, 10th, and now 15th ann.) and we really look forward to not being interupted" mommy I need to go to the bathroom", and not having to pay attention to anyone but ourselves and each other" when did you last see Zack?" . We love our kids but boy oh boy I can't wait to just VEG!!!! I love to read and I am sick of sitting in the bathroom for unnatural lengths of time just so I can finish a chapter! LOL

  3. Hi, Don't sweat the small stuff, your basic requirements are a swimsuit( hard to find one your size on many ships) your medications( very exspensive on board for over the counter stuff) a formal outfit and shoes. shorts and t shirts, and a casual outfit( for informal dining, no shorts allowed). SUNSCREEN( exspensive and very neccesary) everything else is just gravy!! Some people bring everything but the kitchen sink, and there are a lot of useful items that people like to bring, but remember this is you vacation and you should not spend too much time stressing about it !! I always make sure to bring a good book for pool lounging, and a refillable water bottle that I can load up with the ships lemonade or ice tea to take on shore excursians. The ships supply beach towels so don't bother.and many ships supply bathrobes( Princess does) . Have fun!!

  7. Aruba sounds wonderful, we haven't been there yet, but hopefully we will be able to do a southern caribbean cruise one day ( the airfare is so much). So far our favorite port was a toss up between Grand Cayman becuase of the incredible water and white sand beach plus we found some awesome snorkling there on our ownand St Marten because we liked that it had a "Dutch " side and a "French" side!
  8. I'll try, but I must admit geography is not my strong point!
