Karren- I could have gone to work at 8:30 because I was home at 7:30, but I had already asked for a substitute teacher for half day because I didn't know at what time I would get off the ship. Gottacruz- I had gone to the Pirate Museum before. I love it. Yes, I bought a purse for formal night at the Bijoux Terner store. THe bathroom looks great as well as the vanity. I cruised solo on this cruise. My brothers didn't want to miss their Super Bowl Parties and I booked it last minute. They probably would've had more fun on the ship. My mother prefers the 7 day cruises. My best friend that I cruise with lives in New York.

I just returned from the Fascination. The ship is absolutely beautiful and looks brand new after being refurbished. This was my 10th cruise and for debarkation they allowed us to exit the ship first. We had to meet in the library at 6:45. An employee escorted us out at 6:55 and I was off the ship at 7:00. I got home at 7:30. (I'll be going in to work for half a day at 11:30 and work until 3:00. I have an easy afternoon because I have an hour and a half of planning 30 minutes for lunch, and will just be teaching an hour.) For the Super Bowl they had big screens in all of the lounges as well as outside for everyone to watch. They had chicken fingers, hot dogs, grilled steak sandwiches and other things for guests to eat while watching the game. In the meantime all of the activities were cancelled due to the superbowl. The juggler and comedian would perform after the game. They didn't have anything schedule for the ladies who do not watch football. On embarkation day. I arrived to the port at 12:00p.m. They allowed us to board the ship, but were not allowed to enter the cabins until 1:30. I always sneak into my cabin, but was not allowed this time. All of the employees were blocking the hallways to the cabins. In Nassau, I went to the Pirate's Museum and shopped for souveniers. I did a lot of shopping at the ship's stores. I told myself that it would be a weekend getaway and that I wouldn't spend a lot of money, but I couldn't help myself. I'm on a cruise. The cruise was excellent including service, entertainment, and food. The ship looks brand new. It always looked well taken care of, but they have included a few upgrades including flat screeen T.V.'s in the cabins and they made the specialty coffee shop which they only had on the larger ships. They completely remodeled the gym and spa. All of the cardio and weight equipment is brand new like on the Valor. I highly recommend the Fascination. It is absolutely beautiful. I think this about every Carnival ship I've sailed on. I've never been unhappy on any Carnival ship. I'll post pictures later on today.

I'm going on this cruise Jeff! I called today because the price on went down, and I got an upgrade from a 1A inside cabin to a 5A oceanview. I'll only be missing 1/2 day from work on Friday, and 1/2 day on Monday.
