Oh how I know that H & C can set you back some serious $$$. After I moved into our 1940 model home. I think we were in here for 4 years and when the heat would kick on the front panel kept coming off the furnace. When I say coming off.. I would hear a BOOM in the basement and then once I got down the stairs the panel would be 15 feet away from the unit. I called in one company and they said your gas is not properly set. Well it kept happening. So I called in one of my FIL's neighbors. He opened it up and said "see this" I had huge and I mean HUGE holes in the manifold. He said do not use it. I called the other company back and the supervisor came out and then he called the young guy that serviced my unit the week before. He said that should have been caught on the initial inspection. I still had to pay $50 as they said he did adjust my gas. Well I had 4 different companies come in for estimates. Dang I did not want to buy a piece of the companies.. The friend of my FIL had some associates that do sheet metal work and on the side they sell and install furnaces and air. They had a TRANE with Air but it had a dent in one panel. I'm like its in the basement who cares. So I got a real good deal on it. I can't believe people care if the furnace has a scratch or a dent. And they get them for serious discounts. They said I could save money on it if I would haul the old one out. They tore it apart and I did haul it up stairs. And then off to work it went and into the dumpster. And then they asked if I had an electrician to wire it. I asked what needed to be wired? I wrote it all down and between my FIL and myself we had it wired up for them. I know enough about electrical that if its in my house I can do it . My FIL was the best as he would help out whenever possible. He is dearly missed. But I thank him for everything he ever did for us. From what the other companies were asking for H & C it was like half the price. So I did good.

I got a good ole GMC Sierra 4x4 PU full size with a 5.8 ... And of course I have remote start. Whenever I use it people say do you know how much gas is? Yep sure do but I hate scrapping my windows. I have always owned Pick ups. And they have always been either Chevy's or GMC's. Same truck just different incentives. Actually GMC puts together a better package deal. Chevy makes you buy everything seperate. My average mpg on a tank is like 12 mpg. But thats why my wife drives that nice PT cruiser. I think your GF will love her Ring. Just remember that on the islands they will run down the street to find you the right piece of jewelry

Now see in Michigan when I go to buy a vehicle. Since my father worked at GM I get the DISCOUNT. I can either get what used to be Option 1 or Option 2. Option 1 is two phased. A certain percentage off the base price. And then an additional percentage off every option. When I had my one PU built it was $23,000 but after the Option 1 I paid like $15,000 plus I got the rebate. But now on my last truck I bought off the lot so I get a little lower percentages off plus rebates and I was going to get a truck from another dealership. And my dealership would have traded one of there for the one I was looking at. But in the end I found my truck hiding in a corner of there lot. And then they gave more off since I bought it straight from them. In the end when you use the GM discount you get it a heck of a lot lower than the sticker price. And the dealer makes a flat rate on the vehicle versus a chunk. Now if your gf likes jewelry. I went to Diamond International and walked out the door like 5 times and hollered my wifes name and said lets go. Lets go now. Forget it we can get it another time. I'm waiting lets get going. I'm thirsty. Lets get going. Before you knew it I had a beer in hand and the prices dropped every time I walked out that door. The way I look at it. They will find somebody that is willing to pay sticker price or one step down. Not me I want your manager in my face giving me the absolute lowest price just above wholesale. In fact in Cozumel I had a coupon for $50 off any item over $350. I was buying a emerald bracelet for my dad for my mom's birthday. The price listed was like $800. I had just bought a necklace for the wife and then I spotted the bracelet. I was at the door numerous times. The security guard tried to stop me and send me back to the manager. Finally the manager I remember she had short blonde hair. She was from the states. She said my best price is $310 but you can't use the coupon OH ARE YOU SURE? Well why would I want to use the coupon as I have dropped the price as far as I did. I acted a little silly but hey it did work. My dad had that piece appraised and the Jewler said it was worth like $690. So if I would have paid anything above 690 I would have been the sucker. No matter where you go play the game. If they want the sale they will work with you. If not there pockets will be emptier.

The straw market not only has straw everything. But wood everything T shirts that you can see through from front to back for $2 each.. Just dont wash them. Or buy them and give them as gifts to co-workers. Also shells of every type. It is a nice stop. To browse. You will have fun if you like to buy cars for cheap
