It really depends upon who is scanning the bags. Travel irons are not allowed for the obvious reason, that it could start a fire if by chance it was left on. Just as they occur in many homes through out the world as they fall onto the board and begin to smolder. We have brought one onboard, but we use out steamer iron more often. You can pick one up at wallgreens or your local mega market. If you do pack an iron place other metal items around it so it can not be seen as such by the scanners. If I have a shirt or pants that are really wrinkled I will have the ships steam it. I have paid like $3 for my tux shirt to get it dry cleaned.

With a ship this size I think they should have there own dock onboard. That way there is no need to tender in. However in Belize there will be a escaltor on the dock as it could be a long walk to shore

What kind of Liquor are you looking for? When in Grand Cayman go to the Tortuga shop that is like 4 blocks to the left of the port. Its on Fort street I think. It is right across the street from Senor Frogs. They allow unlimited taste tests. The shop on the main drag tries to limit it to one shot per customer. In the bahama's they do have a Bacardi plant

Last cruise we went on I packed. 1 fifth of Vodka one fifth of rum two bottles of wine and 4 bottles of champagne. And it all made it to my room with no problem.
