    Joe & Pat welcome. It's so great that you made your way over here to join us. As you can see this is a very active thread for our cruise. Have you had time (and boy will it take time!!!) to read our entire thread? It sure has a lot of interesting information pertinent to our cruise. We did this exact same cruise a year ago - if there's anything we can help with just give us a shout!

    Thanks Joey I've emailed them to hear their scoop. I know you told me before but why aren't you just storing your bags with reception at the hotel and then only paying 1 way to the port instead of 3 taxi fares? Sorry senior moment - can't recall.

    Joey do you still have that link to the water taxis in Venice (without me having to look through 600 posts!) If not, don't worry, when I have time I'll start looking for it. I'd like to see what they propose. Oh well that settles one thing for sure - only 2 cases on this trip for sure!!!!

    Great to have you onboard Carmen. We haven't cruised to Scandinavia but we have cruised to Europe on Celebrity which was awesome. We have friends who have done Scan. on Princess and loved the cruise - with either you won't go wrong.

    there is a new person over on the CC board - PollyPenguin, who has joined our cruise with several friends. I have invited them over to join us. Wow - we're growing still. Wonder if this cruise is close to being sold out?

    Absolutely I'd go!!! The chances of the same thing happening back to back nah. With all the major investigation and inspections it's likely to be the safest ship to cruise on.

    Many of us don't have the opportunity very often to dress up so we take full advantage of the ability to wear our tuxedo's and evening wear on a cruise. On the other hand other's of us (like me) feel that the cruise is geared to relaxation and prefer not to dress up (if we can get away with it.) What does everyone feel about dress up?

    Gail I pray your family in Israel will remain safe. I typically start packing a couple of weeks before - we did this because my little pooch (who passed away a few months ago) used to get totally freaked out when he saw the luggage, so now I'm very proficient in getting things purchased and organised and then packing closer to the time.
