    A community as large as a cruise ship should have many defibrillators. They should be located so that there is one close enough to retrieve in no more than 2-3 minutes. As far as misuse people misuse things all the time but we still have railings for people to fall from.

    I too am glad the Diane and Lou are safe and for the most part dry. It seems to rain up here every hour or so -- a heavy shower followed by clearing and followed by another storm. How long can this continue??? Yes it is getting closer to Barcelona and the excitement is growing. I think we will make our final payment on the day it is due -- I guess it's sometime in August. No rush to give them the rest of the money.

    I'm sure we will all figure out the best way when we get there. I'm sure during our precruise touring we will get a feel for the distance and modes of transportaion etc. It's getting closer and I'm getting more excited - how about the rest of you???

    I was under the impression from my guidebooks that there were things to be seen not far from where the ship will be docked -- but I suppose close may all be relative.

    Joey- a 21 year old individual is considered an adult in every legal manner in the US - parents or legal guardians have no legal say in their lives.

    I guess they needed to set a limit and they set it at 21. The legal drinking age in the US - I hope that wasn't the criteria they picked.

    I think I said this once before --- take me somewhere I can explore and I will be happy. So I will not even try to guess which port I will like the least. An ordinary place can become awsome when you meet wonderful people, taste something new or see something you've never seen before. Remember it's all in the eye of the beholder and everyone is different.

    I agree we should dine close to the hotel -- we will be sightseeing all day and want to spend as much time as possible doing that so we wouldn't want to waste time going to a restaurant real far away.
