  1. Ok Gang heres something to dwell On! As more and more Bigger ships are being built theres not enough ports to handle the big boys! Or Ladies should I say Girls! The Western Caribbean Ports and especially the tendering ones have 15 to 16 ships at times! The topic is: Do you think they should find more Islands, build more piers and dredge so the ships can get to a Dock? I know that Dredging or building more Ports is a invironmental Reef Thing? But they are Running out of Destinations and The Ports now especially in Cozumel havent gotten Back to their Original State! Is it Feasable to build a Pier in The Caymans? I think that I had read an article that the Grand Caymans has that proposal up to vote on about Building Several Piers there for Docking! Wouldnt Cuba be a Good Tourist Destinations, Especially all the Old Cars! Any Ideas Discussions and some Opinions about this would be Interesting! And if you think its a bad Idea well just fire away but have Pity on me!
  2. Robert I think that is the correct answer.. Thanks Joie! Im not trying to critize anyone elses ways but put in a different view and perspective and maybe some fresh Ideas as well and everyone can ignore or disagree and I wont take any offense unless its slanderous which I havent seen on this site, I only see a Whole bunch of A-1 Quality Respectful people here! And Hey! We can agree to disagree with friendly Banter!
  3. Hi Jason! Looks like they are going to have to check the Bridge Personell like they do the Airline Pilots to see if theve been Drinking before Operating a Cruise Ship!
  4. Hello Sailingrose! Me and Annie always Prepay our Gratuities! And then we can tip accordingly to Services Rendered when the occasion arises! Also we may put extra into the Envelope at the end of our cruise for extra Services Rendered as well! Also we only Drink on Cruises or Special Events and then just some casual Drinks, not just the time you get up until you go to bed types that Ive witnessed on many cruises! Also I find a Bar that I want to frequent a lot and give the Bartender a $20.00 tip upfront and that way I wont be obligated to give extra besides the mandatory tip that is taken out for each purchase! I just draw a line through the extra space for additional tip! Also we purchase prepaid Phone cards and give them out to our Head Waiter and Waiters and Cabin Steward as well!Usually in $10.00 amounts so they can call their families when in Ports! You can be too Gracious so just tip accordingly to what you think is right, Everyone has a different opinion on this! This is Our way of Tipping!
  5. Me and Annie were considering a cruise to Alaska in the future but will have to rethink it! Its not really the money but the principal of taxiing cruisers who come to their country and spend a lot of money in their citys and ports and I think they would take this in consideration! So I will follow this and make my decision later on what a waste of consumer spending in their country!
