I won't go if it's Feb. either. We're driving too and Feb. is too prone to fog here in the valley. And isn't Feb when TM 1 is? I was thinking late March or early April. Give all the TM 1'ers time to rest up. And it gives those of us who need our refund to be able to go, time to get it!

I know some of you hated this idea....but Lisa, are we still thinking about renting a house? Then those who don't want that can hotel it and just visit.....

We can do Dego....but I want to do Vegas too!!! It gives me something to look forward to....Loco is soooo far away!!!

ummm.....why are we doing pirate names for Loco cruise? I thought the pirate names were for TM1? I think we should do Mexican names! I'll google around and see if I can find something similar to the pirate name thingy but for Mexico!

I have only cruised Carnival so I'm not really qualified to compare. BUT...I don't understand why Carnival has a bad rep on some boards. I have received only the highest standard of service, excellent quality of food and a great value for my money. I can't see spending more money for another cruise line when I can have such a great time on Carnival!

in the non-alcoholic arena it would have to be the guava-passion juice from the Lido deck buffet area. That stuff is YUMMY!!! On my last cruise I was really enjoying my White Russians. But the Fun Ship Special was pretty darn good too!!!

I've only cruised twice, both times on Carnival. While there were some children on board, I really only noticed them at dinner. They were always dressed so cute. Maybe we just picked times of the year to cruise where there weren't a whole lot of children aboard.

do other cruise lines not have beverages and ice cream available all the time???

I've never received amenities either. Cash would be my top one to get. OBC yeah!! I could do without a robe. They're usually too heavy for me. Smoo gets hot...

you do know that Loco is a b2b right? I'm only going on Loco Part Dos. But some people are continuing on to Part Dos y Media. (2 1/2 for my non spanish speaking friends.... ) So you could stack up a third one with that! It's on the Pride going to Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas. It's the cruise hubby and I took last year. The Pride is a great ship. From what I'm reading she's leaving Long Beach in March '09 and taking over the Spirit's route. Splendour is taking the Pride's place. I don't remember where the Spirit is going....

are there afts available on other decks? I can't do full deposit until Feb. I'm gonna be out of luck aren't I???
