    I'm dying to see how that $2 hotel deal works out..... I've only cruised west coast. And I live about 3 hours from the embarcation port. So no need for air or hotel. BUT someday when I get to cruise Caribbean and Alaska I will book air and hotel with my cruise. And I like to do that at least a year out.

    I know something Loco has that this cruise doesn't.....a Designated Sober Historian! But from what I've seen there is no one qualified to do it on this cruise!!! *LMAO*

    I've checked out a couple of the ads... as far as excursions...on my last 2 cruises I used only Carnival's excursions. But for the Loco cruise I plan on branching out and using avenues not offered by Carnival. I think being with a group this time makes me feel safer to do that. BUT, I am seriously researching the options I want to take to assure that they are reputable.

    Great review Linda!!! Thanks so much. I especially loved the pictures at La Perla. When we go in 2009 I want us all to have those front tables. Did you go on the beach much in front of your hotel? How was the water? Sandy or rocky? And I don't see any vendors working the beach. In Mazatlan it about ruined the experience for me....all the vendors bugging me.....

    I'll work on it this next week. I have a big luau to go to tonight. It's at one of our Loco cruisers house. She doesn't chat though. It's Jeannette and Kevin. Kevin just got home from Iraq. She's throwing a great party tonight. Hula dancers. Hawaiian food. Cocktail waitresses in hula skirts and coconut bras. It's gonna be great! And tomorrow I have another party to go to. But on Monday I will get right on that banner!

    Actually.....she's # 3 down.......with 2 to go! Next year I'll have a junior and a sophomore. I had three kids in high school this past year. And ya'll wonder why I'm a little off! *LOL*

    the reviews I've read say that it doesn't get really crowded there. The food from the palapas is supposed to be really good and the service. I am SO there!

    Hi Cat.....been wondering where you've been! Yeah...we are tentatively planning a meet and greet next March in or around Vegas. Some of us want to rent a house...others want to go hotel. We will probably do both...everyone can just do what they're comfortable with and we'll plan get togethers. We'll have more details when it gets closer. Welcome back!

    I missed it....was it any good? Who has seen Pirates of The Caribb 3? Did you like it? I basically liked it....but parts of it were WEIRD!!! I definitely liked it better than the 2nd one....but the first one was the best!

    Well....it was a great show. Made me want to be in Mexico now!!! They did show Zihua. But only a glimpse of Las Gatas. They didn't mention it...but I recognized it. They did talk about what a great little town it is. I love this show. 1000 Places To See Before You Die. That couple on the show have a DREAM job!!!

    I AM SO EXCITED I'M ALMOST PEEING!!!!! TONIGHT ON THE TRAVEL CHANNEL, ON THE 1000 PLACES TO SEE BEFORE YOU DIE SHOW, THEY'RE IN MEXICO!!!! AND THEY'RE GOING TO ZIHAU! ONE OF OUR PORTS!!! I SO HOPE THEY SHOW LAS GATAS BEACH!!! I'LL REPORT BACK LATER.....
