Shore Excursion Gratuities

We will be on a 2-day excursion in St. Petersburg this month and don't know what type of tipping is expected (or acceptible) overseas. What do you tip tour guides, particularly in foreign ports? :huh:

I have not been to St. Petersburg but to other parts of Europe and the tipping seems to be the same as here. Bring small bills with you and you should be fine. I hope you get others to comment for your particular area as well. Have a great time.
