Tim McGraw will be the musical headliner during a three-day cruise aboard Carnival Cruise Lines' newest ship, Carnival Liberty. Set for Jan. 28-31, the voyage is billed as the Country Cruise Getaway departing from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Other artists performing on the cruise will be announced at a later date. McGraw will be featured in a concert and a Q&A session with fans. The cruise will also feature a Texas Hold 'Em poker tournament with a $20,000 grand prize.

I love Tim McGraw and listen to his music a lot. Last year, we took our motorhome up to Cheyenne Frontier Days to attend a concert of his. I think he is a great singer, but when he came out on stage, he said something along the lines that he was there to sing not B.S. with the audience. Of course, his songs were wonderful and the whole crowd sang along, and as we went to see a "concert", we got what we paid for. We had just been to a Toby Keith concert a few weeks before and had such a good time - Toby totally interacted with the audience and joked around between songs. It may be a lot better on the ship, as there wil be a Q & A session, but we had the opportunityto go to another Tim McGraw concert after that and decided to pass on it. I am still a huge fan of his music, so please don't think I am knocking him. In my opinion, he is a singer, not a showman.

Cheryl - Toby Keith is my absolute favorite!!! He's here in Tampa this Saturday but we unfortunately have other plans....bummer!!!

I've heard (via our radio station) that on the Tim McGraw cruise - he meets the ship at a given port, does his concert and then flies off....he's not actually on the cruise with the passengers.
