So, we enjoy both. But, if we want the entertainment in the evening, we feel Carnival is better than RCI.l If you're not that into the shows or dancing, we would pick RCiI.

I want opinions ..I am so a novice Cruiser and am so not knowledgeable about Cruising. I went to RCI b/c its what I have done and it was good. I had kids go on that one so it was fun for them. This time it's only me and the dh this time.

I want him to have a great 1st time "Cruise" experience. I want him to get hooked

OK, so I decided on FLL..as its easier to get too for us..either via USA/Canada. But am down to 2 ships.

I'm 53, Jerry's 59; the other couple that we travel with are 54 and 58. We've been on a Carnival cruise at least 9-10 times and have loved them all. We've seen all age ranges and all types of activities.

Jerry is very much the couch potato. He will admit that he prefers to do absolutely nothing and it doesn't phase him how much money we spend for him to do nothing. Thus, we cruise! He can sleep to his heart's content and I can exercise to mine.

We also love the Caribbean and Florida.
