enchantersnight 0 Report post Posted September 16, 2013 Hi, I was wondering when the "best" time to visit Norwegian Fjords is? I saw a deal for 7 days next May for £900 ish balcony and my husband thinks it is cheap as it is the wrong time to go, so I thought I'd ask the experts Any help appreciated Alison
Jan115 1,060 Report post Posted September 16, 2013 Hi Alison, Your husband is partially right because May is the shoulder season for Norway, meaning it will be colder - and less expensive. On the other hand, the midnight sun makes a greater showing from mid-May to late June (summer solstice). If you want to go when it is the warmest, then choose July or August - prices are highest during that time, though. Look for sales - cruise lines frequently have Europe deals.
