COMPLETE REVIEW

I am not much of a writer but wanted to comment on this cruise. My wife and I have cruised both Norweigian and Princess numerious times. My wife won't fly anymore so we are limited to our choices. We decided to try Carnival and was pleasantly surprised. The ship and crew were warm and welcome. It took a day to get used to the pink decor but loved it after that. The ship was in great shape and our cabin was spotless.

Embarkation was a little long and had to stand in the sun on a extremely hot day for Long Beach but no one cared. Once inside the terminal, everything went fast and soon we were on board. Debarkation was the most organinized and speedy we have experienced.

We have decied to stay with Carnival and give up our Platinum status on Princess.

Celebrity Century is doing a couple of 4- and 5-night cruises out of San Diego in April of 2013 that look interesting. We have friends in Arizona who are considering these itineraries. There’s also an 8-night San Diego to Vancouver that we’re toying with the idea of flying over for…
