Gogetter, My husband and I just got our passports in May of 04, we were born in 1957 and 1960 and had no problem. The only scary thing was we had to give them our original birth cert to do it. It took about 6 weeks, I was very happy to get everything back. The passport is much sturdier then a B/C because it is book form and made to open and closed where your B/C gets creased from being folded and breaks down over time. We used ours to get into Canada when we went to Niagara Falls. It was quick and painless compared to people showing B/C and driver license. :grin:

Does anyone know if The Jewel of the Seas has incorporated the Auto tipping? I hope so.

My son is getting a laptop and will be letting me take it so I can download the pictures daily. It has wireless built in. Does that make a difference in the fee per minute? Thanks :huh:

I think auto tipping wouyld be a great way. This way you don't have to carry all the cash and as the skipper said , look for the correct denominations.

I am anxiously awaiting my first real cruise. Have taken many small 1 to 2 hour cruises on lakes. Can't wait for our first real cruise. Dec. 4, 2004 on the Jewel of the seas to to Eastern Caribbean. :wink:

If you take a laptop with you is the internet connection free or is there a fee. Or can you only accesss internet from specific areas. Are there connections in each cabin?

I agree, this is great. I am a big cat lover having 4 of my own. My cats will tolerate a bath but do not like it. The person who lost thier cat (for what ever reason) Should be ashamed. Way to go NEMO!
