When you finish packing, take out half of the clothes. When you plan for money, bring a lot. You will want to buy so much when you are on a cruise. always bring a bag to bring things home. Enjoy and relax.... Dennis

Carnival has just announced that they are increasing their short cruises by 50% this coming year. In Florida, many are jumping the band wagon and cruising for shorter periods of time. Carnival believes that the average cruiser is willing to take several short cruises rather than one long one. Living in Florida I have taken many (more than 10) short cruises but have never bitten on a long cruise. Time always seems to be against me when I vacation. What about you? Dennis

Balcony is nice, but at this point I would settle for a porthole, or OV guarantee. Dennis

I watched this show this morning and really enjoyed it. If you ever get an opportunity, the portion on their forging of Castaway Cay is really interesting. Apparently, when they got to the island for the 1st time, they forgot they needed water and ended up drinking coconut milk (Survivor). Also found out that they had to do quite a bit of work to get the island in shape for the cruise pax. Dennis

I am working hard to get out of the inside. My cabin steward seems a bit lazy. He wouldn't put my beds together and never keeps ice in my cabin. Who should I complain to??? :sealedlips: Dennis :grin:

When Cruise Crazies was down :cry: I started looking for it uncontrollably because I thought there was something wrong with my computer. I just found the board a few weeks ago and thought it was my fault. I guess you don't miss what you got until its gone. Cruise Crazies is awesome. Looking to post enough for a cabin upgrade. When I was on the Majesty (RCI) the place to be was the disco, but I liked the Piano Bar because you could meet ppl there and still talk (unlike the disco). Enjoy this ship. Even though she is a little older than some of their mega liners, she is beautiful and reliable. Dennis

1st day of spring yesterday and I was wondering if the cruise crazies from the northern states were thawing out a bit. In Florida it is warm, sunny and reasonably windy. Actually, its a perfect day. :cool: I hope its warming up where you live. If not, come down and jump a cruise to thaw out.
