Mebert, I can't say enough about the Atlantis; it is one of the best resorts I have visited, very posh. We have stayed there a couple of times (four to be exact). My first time there I asked for room service to deliver cold watermelon several times during our vacation. My next reservation, there was a bowl of watermelon there for me and every visit since then, what more can you ask for. I felt like a movie star. :grin: I first went to Nassau with the kids back in 2000 and we had a wonderful time. The kids were not too happy with the food, but my husband and I are from South America, so we were familiar with the food there and thoroughly enjoyed it, so many restaurants with such delicious food. After persuading the kids to try different dishes, they were happy with the choices. The people there are very friendly; everyone has a smile, a nod or a greeting for you, especially when they knew from our accents that we were from around the area. All this talk about Nassau is making me think about making a reservation for my birthday in January. :smiley:

Nassau is another favorite. We have been there several times, staying at the Atlantis, what a wonderful resort that is :smiley: , and you are right Mebert, the people there aim to please and they succeed wonderfully.
