This makes me want to say hmmm ... What does the contract state when you sign up for the cruise? I know thta there are a lot of hills not worth dieing on. This one seems like a hill worth tackling!

Bliss is a "state" that I have been trying to master for a number of years. I like these new names. I agree with Amy (or was it Michael that posted?) Let's see what the ship has to offer!!

We were in San Diego waiting to board Celebrity Mercury for our 15-day Hawaii trip when we were told the ship before us had Noro-virus. For about 3 days, we never touched any common items (butter, salt, pepper, etc, etc.) The ship closed off the common areas for about 5 days. No one got sick. Everyone used the hand sanitizer. A vaccine would be interesting but certainly not something that I would take.

We've been on the Sensation a number of times for 7-day cruises (before the bigger ships were built). I am so glad that your cruise lived up to your expectations. Thanks for the review.

My heart broke when I read this story in our local paper. Then I realized that unfortunately, drownings occur all the time. This accident could have happened in any pool at any time. It became a public event because of Carnival's disclosure. I commend Carnival for reporting this incident. As unfortunate as it is, they did the correct thing by disclosing the incident. As for lifeguards - no! My hear goes out to the family, friends and staff of Carnival that had to deal with this tragedy. However, I truly believe that the parents and guardians are responsible for their children's welfare on any vacation.
