    all the info given here is great and true. i also have seen the jeans (much more than once) but i still dressed the way i wanted and felt comfortable. for me cocktail dress.

    sorry your alaskan cruise weather was so crappy. i probably would have cried with that weather. after having paid out so much money. if it was so bad the excursions i planned may not have happened. i planned for whale watching (of course), the helicopter ride to the glacier, and the sea plane which was to end with landing on a lake. all of these had weather permitting on them. did you get to do any excursions? what did you do? i will heed your advice about going in may. reason for not choosing may was i thought it might be too cold. but, research has shown me that spring is the best time for whale watching. i will see for myself one of these days. keep me posted and stay in contact please. linda

    i took a grandson and had ALL the documentation i was ADVISED to get, keep, and have on hand at all times. it was never asked for..not once. it even got to the point where i asked them to look at it and was told it wasn't necessary. really knocked my socks off when coming back into the country they STILL didn't ask. this was 2007 well after 9-11.
