    i was just lucky. i was home sick from work and got a phone call. it was carnival cruise lines. i told them i wasn't sure. every time i gave an excuse for why i could not go they lowered the price. i wasn't playing a game i was serious and just wanted the guy off the phone. the price ended up being so low that i decided that it was now or never to finally try a cruise. that sick day turned out to be a very fortunate day for me. that started my love for cruises.

    go on the cruise line site. enter the name of your ship. check the deck plans to see exactly where your cabin is located. i always check the deck plans even when i'm only dreaming about a cruise.

    i've also have used web sites for cruises. i used smartcruises and when i had to cancel at the last minute they were very helpful. which i was really worried about. they sent all the insurance claim forms and answered all my questions and still do. if you do set up an oldies cruise please add me to the list???
