We found that pepto bismol works the best. We contacted the company and they said even though they don't advertise it, many have said it was the best for sea sickness.

Ireland Do cruises go there. Second choice, Quebec City.

We love the free style on NCL. Anytime and anywhere.

We seem to only like mid ship Balconies. We are not sure of the motion of an aft balcony. Do you feel it going up and down???

TRACY, Not sure of the Spirit, was on it 4 years ago. Most ships do have partitions that can be opened. When you are on board, speak to your room steward. You won't be able to open it on your own, the steward should have the key or will find you some one who will. I would tip him, better service will follow you for the rest of the trip.

Cheryl, Go on "Vacationstogo.com" At the top of the page click on "Cruise ships and ratings" they give you all the ships out there. If you click on the ship you want the photos and deck plans are better than the ones on the cruise companies website. We use this all the time, it gives the best info on a ship I have ever seen.

You need to read the article, they are offering 3 itineraries that sound great. The Glory is still repositioning for the Canada run. That will make it 4 itineraries next year from NY.

Thanks everyone. With this snow on the ground, it makes it very easy to go.

Having taken many cruises out of NY and living here. I recommend you get a starboard room. If you are high enough, the statue of liberty looks right in at you. On the way home, the skyline is great in the morning with the sun rising from the east. You will notice that when you depart, all if not most of the people will be on the starboard side to view the lady in the harbor and Ellis island. You might want to be on the top deck when the ship goes under the bridge. That's exciting, to see how close you get to the bridge.

I think I will agree with , more ports of call. Also more times of the year to visit these ports. EX: No cruise goes to Canada from New York in June, July, August, except Princess.
