And also we plan on goin down the night before to orlando and getting hotel for the night and then the next day taking the hotel's shuttle back to the airport, but was wondering will i have to take a taxi to the hotel or do most hotels have shuttles that go back and forth or what? we have never took a cruise or flown. thanks
sailingrose
Welcome jimkatmat 1! It's pretty hard to guess how much you would spend on board. Do you drink and gamble, buy pictures??? Your ships card is used for all onboard purchases and can be paid by credit card or cash in advance. I know that the Radisson has a shuttle that goes between the hotel and the port. Sorry not sure about the airport to the hotel part. It's a really nice hotel with great grounds. I love the Sovereign and I've been board her many many times so I'll help out as much as I can with your questions.
hazelson
Hi - I would imagine most airport hotels would have shuttles but I doubt any farther out into Orlando proper would. Check tripadvisor for hotel info. That way you can get people opinions LOL. Our first cruise was out of Orlando and we stayed on for five nights after the cruise to see the sights - great place to visit. As Rose said - the cash thing is pretty hard to estimate - just be careful the "sign and sink" card account doesn't get away from you - it adds up pretty quickly. Don't forget to factor in trips to the casino if you like to gamble.
