Favorite Shore Trip - CABO SAN LUCAS, MEXICO

I am headed to Cabo San Lucas next week and would like to get everyone's opinion of what you did that you like and other things that you would pass on after doing it. .

Whale watching, but I'm not sure if February is time enough to see them.

Cabo is great. You can walk around and feel very safe. Most of it has been developed by wealthy Americans (and a few from Tucson which is how we know this tidbit of information).

Remember that you are still in Mexico. Cabo can fool you because it looks so new. Don't drink the water.

Forgot, there is a must do in Cabo. There's a spot in the ocean where the Pacific meets the Gulf of Mexico. Great photo op. Great snorkeling (be careful of jelly fish)

We did the whale watching in March and it was disappointing.

Free booze made it a hit with some people though!  And they mentioned "tipping" a lot.

It's a nice spot just to wander with lots of shopping.
