    So I'm in Paneras and there is some girl wearing short shorts and has cowboy boots that R 3/4 up to her knees. Hey it's like 80 degrees. Kinda hot for that.

    For us it's clearly ports. It's nice to have sea days after several ports in a row just to rest up but beyond that we like to see different places its ports!

    Tough to say. Its definitely not RCI based on our two cruises with them. I would have to say Celebrity gets my vote as the buffet on the Equinox was the best we have ever had, even better than the Tahitian Princess which is saying something as the Equinox serves 5x the number of passengers. CCL has been good too, better than RCI I would say. 2nd is Princess IMHO.

    I agree with the above. As a veteran cruiser I am not put off. I do think CCL has to upgrade their maintenence procedures as it was more than just the Triumph but they know that better than we do as its the bottom line which has to be protected and you can't do that by presenting a shoddy product.

    This wasn't a question but a funny joke from the CD on our first cruise as he was warming us up B4 the show. "A purse was reported lost and has been found by a passenger named Helen Hunt. So go to Helen Hunt ( hell and hunt) for it. :D

    Perceptions. Thats what on my mind. Sometimes we see what people do and say through how we have perceived them in the past and what our image is of them predicated by what they allow us to see, the image they craft. This can be so strong that we may miss or dismiss things that perhaps with a fresh eye we would see that shows a completely different side. I know this to be true. Don't ask how and about who. I feel like I am one of a few whereas most can't see it because they are not allowed...

    Hmmm. That seems like a very reasonable price for being upscale and inc. excursions, wi fi some etoh, etc. Then there is the huge adaption to much bigger vessels. It seems like going from a go-cart to an Indy car. Well lets see how they do and good luck.

    Well if this fails then the marketing guys who predict a niche for such ships will be in trouble but my bet is they researched the hell out of this before investing all that money. This should float, no pun intended. :D

    Confirmation for Y I am changing dentists. The old one was supposed to send out my X rays to the new one. So I am in the office now and no X rays. We called and was told they were sent to ME one week ago but of course I never got them and the originals were sent to my insurance. Co. For evaluation and they discard them once that's done. My old dentist has nothing, not even a copy. She's a good dentist but man on man the office is run by Moe, Larry and Curly.

      I'm just wondering Larry, were they hardcopy (film) type X-Rays or Digital (copied to a disk when taken)? About three years ago I was an X-Ray repair tech that's the same time most doctors, dentists and even veterinarians were switching over to digital X-Rays. It was easier for the patient because all they had to do was carry a copy of the disk as opposed to the giant (or in your case with dental X-Rays, NOT so giant) films. If they were digital, she should have a copy on her computer...

    I agree 100%. Sometimes I hear of people putting such items as meds, valuables, and such in their checked bags. Bad idea. Always keep that stuff with you.

    Besides the usual things like clothes :D for me bringing binoculars a d my own coffee is a must. I don't like cruise ship coffee usually so I used to bring my own (Gevalia) and a French press. Now however I bring Starbucks via packets which aren't too bad really. Gotta have good coffee and one of the many things I liked about our Baltic cruise was getting good joe in the ports. Seems to me Europeans prefer richer, stronger coffee so for me this was wonderful.
