Nice to have the extended stay onboard - anything to stay longer on holiday!! I think "dent" was a bit of an understatement from the guy I spoke to at RCCL UK's office!!! :rolleyes:

The UK office are advising that the ship has a "dent" in its hull and is cancelling next Saturdays (23rd April) cruise but have Engineers on their way to the ship to assess how much damage has occurred. If the damage is as they have been advised then they are hoping the following weeks cruise will go as planned. Fingers crossed this wont effect too many people! :sad:

Thanks Guys!! - finally got my pikkies moved from my camera onto a disc so will get the review & relevant pictures done soon (I promise). Jason - I would love to be able to get booking another cruise for our next hol but not sure if we are going to be able to afford it so will prob be 2007 (either Mexico riviera or Alaska we think??) but may have to have a cheap hol next year to enable us to save - we went a bit silly on the spends as we couldnt resist all those lovely Diamonds onboard (and the biggest item was for my hubby not me!!) Kaz UK - the majority of the fellow cruisers were really friendly as were most of the staff onboard - we did meet a few other brits whilst out & about but as Carnival ships can be quite lively I dont think the stuffy members of the UK would fit in too well??? the Miracle did have quite an upmarket feel to her though as everyone made such a decent effort on the formal nights and she is still quite new so it wasnt like everyone was doing the congo round the deck each day (apart from one night in Bacchus). There were quite a few kids (cant complain though as thats why we picked the ship so Jamie - our son would have good facilities) I will really try to finish my notes for my review and get it posted over the next few days and I hope this will be of interest to some of you. :cool:

Hi Everyone, Well back in lovely rainy Lancashire UK after our 2 week holiday to Florida and the Carnival Miracle's 7 night Western Caribbean cruise. We had a great time and loved the Carnival Miracle. I will sort out my pickies & pop a quick review on the Miracle shortly (been hectic since we got back on Tuesday). If anyone has any questions about the Miracle in the mean time I will be happy to try to answer them. Karen

Oh and forgot to say I have been on the M.S. Westerdam last year when she visitied Harwich and when you have that cruise later on this year I would highly recommend trying out the heated ceramic beads which are bliss!!!! :smiley:

I think lv2cruise is on the week before us? I think? its just we are flying out from the UK the week before the cruise for a bit of a stay on the Gulf Coast (to help us get used to the new time zone so were not getting up at 3am onboard the ship haha) I am so ready for this trip now - I havn't been on holiday since last April and cannot wait to fly over! :grin:

BON VOYAGE - Have a fab cruise Make sure you leave the ship nice & tidy for when we board - never know we may pass you disembarking whilst were awaiting to embark!!!! :cool:

I know this original question is a couple of weeks old now and thanks for the advice from DaCruzNut and Lil_xxmissyxx. Just wondered if anyone had arrived back recently from a cruise including Costa Maya, Belize or Cozumel that may have done some excursions that they really enjoyed, we are pretty sure we are going to go to Chankannab Park in Cozumel, probably do one of the Mayan sites in Costa Maya? but still are undecided about Belize!! :undecided: Sorry for being repetitive and thanks for any help or opinions!! :smiley:
