  1. Hi L320, First of all Dale now to your questions. We live in the Los Angeles Area We have sailed out of Long beach before, its a breeze .. if you arrive at 3:00pm you will be fine.. most start lining up around 11:30am or so, now as far as debarkation we found Carnival to be less convenient than other lines. it possible could be a few hours if your number or color is at the lowest point on the release lease.. Departure on any ship cannot happen until the customs department is satisfied. Dale, wish I could be more exact. hope you have a great time! As Always <]
  2. Yes it must be exciting, But Lisa I think I agree with you on waiting a bit after a ship has been on drydock!
  3. Hi bogeesbrew! I know how the anticipation can grow, with all the excitement don’t forget to have fun!! Bon Voyage have a safe and enjoyable vacation and We can't wait to hear all about it!!<]
  4. Hi Mary, Our First cruise on HAL was pre suggestive tip era, and it was on the Ryndam,! It is a beautiful, smaller vessel, we enjoyed very much, one thing I would mention. Being a smaller ship, the stabilizers aren’t always adequate, so I would recommend getting a cabin as close to mid ship as possible. The wait staff can be wonderful, and although it has been a few years since we sailed her, I am sure you will enjoy your experience. Always <]
  5. Hello mookster, First and foremost With that being said, I believe all cruise lines offer a reduced fare for 3rd and more guests traveling in the same stateroom. Personally if you are considering booking a christmas cruise, depending on the year you are planning to vacation, I would suggest you start booking soon, as the rates rarely go DOWN during the holidays! Glad your here! and look forward to your posts! as always

  15. Hi everyone! I am one that tends to plan things out, I also know that I am not alone in this obsession! With that being said , I wanted to know is there any interest in getting a group together to do South America in 2007? David and I were thinking about trying to get down to Rio for Carnival, I know that The Infinity will be there in February and we can use the ship as a hotel for the 3 says that we are there before heading on, We would also consider sailing on a Princess ship if one is scheduled. It does not have to be for Carnival, just thought that it might be fun, for that matter it doesn’t have to be South America it’s just that that’s the next on our list And it doesn’t have to be the first part of the year .. We have 4 weeks we can use in 07..J All suggestions are invited. Anyone interested in at least looking into the costs and making plans to get a group together? Let me know As Always
