  7. Here's a few updates: http://www.irishexaminer.com/pport/web/ire...TbBP-2fa91M.asp I just got off that cruise today (1/8/06) There were two versions of what happened floating around the ship. The news had it wrong when it says that the girl was on the top deck. She actually felt off from her balcony on the 8th floor. Around 8:00 AM the cruise director informed us via PA that for the last several hours, the cruise had been traveling in circles searching for a passenger who had felt off the ship. My uncle, who was traveling with us, told me that at 2:00 AM they had shut down all the music channels on the TV. Around 1:00 PM again they informed us that the Mexican coast guard would continue with the search and the ship would continue to Cozumel. We arrived at Cozumel at 3:30 PM (it was scheduled at 8:00 AM) Yesterday (Saturday), the captain asked for a minute of silence in memory of the tragic event and the whole ship went quiet. Very sad. Everyone was in shock when we learned that it was a teenager. The parents were moved downstairs to another cabin across to were I was staying. I did not see them, or spoke with them, but the cabin steward told me about them. The captain decided to cancel Gran Cayman as port of call and we stayed the next day also in Cozumel. I couldn't even fathem what that family is going through...so very sad!!!!
