Hey Chuck!! I got my goodies package!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! However ~ our plan to bore my relatives with my non-stop talking about crusing didn't work!! They only wanted to hear more!! (this is their first vacation since the child was born - 10 years ago) - so a cruise is like the DISNEYLAND of vcations for them. L

Sounds like a long weekend works best for everyone ~ lets toss out some dates - is 2 nights enough?? I like the idea of meeting at a house - we could do a pot luck of some type!! What about the last weekend in April - say the 26th & 27th?? If you're driving you could leave Friday the 25th - maybe get the house for 3 or 4 nights? We'd probably fly out on Saturday the 26th - so dinner that night would be great!! Then maybe an afternoon thing on Sunday the 27th - then we could all go home on Monday the 28th (taking only 1 day off from work!!) We don't gamble either ~ we just love Las Vegas - what a people watching place!! And a great place for the TM's to hook up!! Thoughts??? L

I guess what we all need to decide too ~ is what are we doing as a "group" ~ are we all meeting someplace for dinner?? I think that would be nice!! Some place a little quiet so we could all talk!! Were we only going to do 1 meet & greet or maybe two?? We're open for anything!! We just love Las Vegas!! L

We can go . . .whenever. We plan on flying out of SFO. It is cheaper on Sunday nights - were we thinking of just a couple of nights?? Linda

COUNT ME IN - on the craps that is!! I have never played - but am trying to learn it so I can play when we go cruising!! L

O.K. - don't shoot me - but you did ask. I just can't image taking a shore excursion without Wayne. He is my best friend & with so many choices to make for shore excursions we've never have a problem finding many that we both enjoy!! We have friends who went to Alaska last year - he did the glacier trek & she went shopping or something . . . .when we were in the car ride home after having lunch with them - we both went "Would you go on an excursion without me?? NO WAY!!" That is just us! Now, true - we both LOVE all the same things & Wayne would basically go along with whatever I picked ~ there have been excursions where we've said - I'll never do that again ~ but we both agree. Now you have conflicting opinions!! You should do what you wish!! L

Still looking into accomodations in Vegas Of course the best rate will be a Sunday through Thursday. However, in using the calendar that many of the hotels have to check availability - it appears "something" BIG is happening the weeks of April 6th to the 18th - the rooms are DOUBLE in price from the week of April 27th to the 30th. Does any one know why the rates would be so much different? Also, Circus Circus has a good rate - $ 55.00 per night the 27, 28, 29th of April. L

We could be neighbors! Not if you're on Deck 8 ~ Panorama ~ the Lido deck is right above your head - too loud for me!! I asked my TA for deck 5, 6 or 7 ~ Upper, Empress or Verandah. Nice & quiet. . . . . . . L

Yes smoo we do..8270.. I was just concerned about debris and noise from the upper decks.. I tend to be an early riser plus the fact I tend to go to bed after dinner..LOL .. Just concerned whats over us and what the noise factor should be like.... thats all i was thinking if I was on like deck 7 it would be a tad more quieter... I could be wrong .. juts making sure before its too late... LOL I want deck 5 or 6 - & close to the AFT. Nothing above me or below me. PLUS - I want to be FAR away from any children area - like that camp carnival thing!! We are ealy risers too (up at 4 am most days) - tend to hit the sheets around 8 pm!! (unless we nap!! ) L

March or April will work for us. We have been to Vegas every year for the past 5 years. Stayed at Treasure Island (twice), MGM Grand, New York- New York & last year at the Mirage. We're game for staying any place that is clean!! Maybe we can get a block of rooms cheap!! L
