  1. I forgot to add that this was on their menu on our August Alaska cruise. One man ordered the "fee" steak. Sent it back 3 separate times and then insisted that he wasn't going to pay for it. What really struck me as "odd" was the fact that filet or prime rib was on the menu at least 6 out of the 7 meals. I think there was pay for crab legs, but I don't remember lobster tail. Lobster tail was on the menu the first formal night.
  2. Enjoy the Carnival Liberty. We hope that your cruise is fun, relaxing, and exactly what you are looking for in a vacation. Bon voyage!
  3. Have a wonderful time preparing for your Quantum of the Seas cruise. Sometimes I think the weeks before are just as exciting as the actual vacation. Please come back and tell us all about your vacation.
  4. I'm guessing that PeachandGrolee really meant they were sailing on the Carnival Sunshine (multiple entries). Even if it's the Carnival Splendor, we wish you smooth sailing! Have a great cruise.
  5. Have a fan-tab-u-lous cruise on the Splendour of the Seas. Cannot wait for your review. Bon Voyage
  6. I am really anxious to hear your thoughts on the Carnival Sunshine. Another Cruise Crazie will also be on that ship (PeachandGrolee). Be sure to hang your Cruise Crazie sign on your outside door!
  7. Have a wonderful time on your next cruise. Cannot wait to find out what ship, what itinerary and what ports of call you will be visiting.
  8. Please take a minute (or two) to wish Bon Voyage to our Cruise Crazy friends. Phillyharry (if you are from Philly - go Eagles!), enjoy your Norwegian Gem cruise.
  9. Let's take a minute (or two) to wish Bon Voyage to our Cruise Crazy friends. Enjoy the Regal Princess! Cannot wait to hear about the ship, the itinerary, and your favorite ports of call.
  10. November is truly around the corner. Let's take a minute (or two) to wish Bon Voyage to our Cruise Crazy friends. Enjoy your Grandeur of the Seas vacation. Come back and post! We miss you
  11. Gold plated ship on a stick?? What did you win this for? Thanks for the photo album
  12. What a good idea to re-address this question. I agree. Two years ago it was a "we must have a balcony". Now that there is no smoking on balconies, Jerry and I are rethinking why are we paying extra for the balcony? Sure, we love to sit outside and watch the world go by. But it really is for him to smoke.
  13. Thanks for such a "clever" review. I love how you incorporated the pictures. Both of you look great
  14. Don't get me wrong. The food wasn't horrible. It's just that we really were surprised about so much beef and fried foods. I'm guessing that a "meat-a-tarian" would complain that there wasn't enough meat! We definitely want to return to Alaska and see much more of that part of the world.
  15. "Very relaxing cruise" Click here to view the cruise review
  16. I filled out the form about the cruise and wrote an exceptionally long review. Must have been on the computer for too long because none of what I wrote got saved. Alaska on the Carnival Miracle was beautiful. We cruised the SE inland route - stopping in Skagway, Juneau and Victoria. The sights were amazing. No need to pay for whale watching. We were treated to mamma and babies the entire time. Food was good - not excellent. I was surprised that the menu was typical Carnival with mainly beef, fried options and very limited cooked vegetables. Their vegetarian options were pasta, fried choices or lentils. Service was wonderful and being a platinum member pays off. We did not partake in the spa or any of the entertainment. We spent a lot of time sitting on the balcony or staring out windows. We did catch up on a lot of movies. Our balcony stateroom was deck 8, aft. A great cabin with a wonderful cabin steward. We took the motor coach-train ride in Skagway. That was our only excursion. We did our own walking tours in Juneau and Victoria. Alaska is a beautiful state and Jerry and I are fortunate to have been able to visit it this past month.
  17. The end of October will be here before you know it. Hope you have a fantabulous time on the Freedom of the Seas. Can't wait for the review

  23. This is a great question. My bucket list includes: Vast trips throughout Europe, South America, Australia/New Zealand, Israel and if it's safe, surrounding countries. I, too, know that as others answer this question, I'll say "oh yeah, I want to do that too"
