Marylou, gotta say that the last minute decisions to cruise are the best decisions. Congrats for being able to take advantage. I cannot believe that this is Celebrity's way of dealing with the buffet. It sounds like a backwards system that takes more work - each plate being plated. I would not have been able to eat at the buffet because of all of my food allergies. Let's hope that the evaluations are poor and that this new idea does not catch on. Hear ya loud and clear on the "let's relax" idea. Jerry and I really look forward to our at sea days. We haven't been to Bermuda. Guess we need to add that to our bucket list as well.

The Alaska cruise that we booked last week (and paid for) was advertised on another website today at $100/person cheaper than what we paid for. And, I thought we got a really good deal the first time. So I called Carnival. Because we did not participate in the Early Saver, we were not entitled to ship board credit. I explained to her that we booked this last week and paid for it then. She then offered us a cabin upgrade. We went from deck 6 to deck 8, still aft balcony. I asked her what happens when the price drops again. She said, "well I guess we'll have to give you either a better cabin or an extended balcony." Of course, I'll still ask if we can get ship board credit. Never hurts to ask.

I need to run the math for Jerry. HMMMM.............

Sadly, but it seems like this accident just happened.

I also love to dance. Had no clue that not only did Jerry not like to dance, but he did not know how to dance. We must have been married for 15-20 years before it dawned it me that we never went dancing. You can always find me at the dance lessons on the ship. And, I'm booging away at the sail away parties and in the dining room conga lines.

I thought it had more to do with insurance rates and risk of fire. If you have a no smoking policy that is enforced, then insurance rates are cheaper, right?

The older I get, the earlier I fall asleep. It's killing me!

Jerry really needs to quit!

Jerry wants to know (and I do not know the answer), if he tells the cruise line that he is willing to pay the $250, would they let him smoke on the balcony? My thinking is no, but I thought I'd put this out there.
