Jeff, I just loved reading this. It makes me feel like we're on that ship with you. I will never forget the difference between port, bow and stern of the ship. Please keep these coming. If I had never cruised , reading this would make it impossible for me to resist.

Jeff...my way of remembering which side is port and which side is starboard is that port is the same amount of letters as left...4 letters in each...port=left.
