Nassau - Shop Times

Can anyone tell me what time the Straw Market and shops around the pier open and close? We have to book a snorkeling tour through a private company since the ones offered through Carnival are booked already (July 31!!!!) and I want to do some shopping. Thanks Much All.

Usually the shops and the straw market open about the same time the ships get there. The Straw market closes when it's getting dark.

9 to 5 most shops Monday to Friday

12 to 5 Sundays but most are closed on Sunday

I remember being disappointed that everything closed kind of early . We went back to ship after shopping and then got off again , only to find it was locked up and deserted, probably after 5 or 6. I don't know if it was a Sat. or a Sunday.
