moving my ships?

the sovereign of the seas <] & mariner of the seas <] are moving out of port canaveral

i love both ships and now i will go to Miami to cruise and that sucks

they say that they are replacing the sovereign with a smaller ship and not the mariner??????

? why royal Caribbean why?????????????????????????????? :angry:

They are transferring the Sovereign to Pullmantur in Europe, and moving the Monarch from the west coast to Port Canaveral. The Monarch is actually a touch bigger than the Sovereign.

There is nothing on the RCI website saying the Mariner is moving, and they have cruises still listed through the end of 2008 on there. Perhaps they are thinking of homeporting the Independence there when it's finished and moving the Mariner elsewhere, perhaps to the west coast.

Don't worry too much frostyboy, the Mariner will get replaced too probably with a bigger ship. We'll just have to wait until the Independence is done and see if they will give us back a ship. I can't see RCI abandoning Port Canaveral for longer cruises as the Mariner sails full pretty much every week.

You'll like the Monarch. It's not much different than Sovereign.
