A bed question!

OK most of our crazies have tried various cruise lines - please rate the comfort of the beds for me. Who has the comfiest bed??

Our last cruise on the Mariner was probably one of the hardest beds we have ever had - I am just wondering if that was because they booked us into a handicap cabin...... our TA booked the cabin because they had many available and they have plenty of room (we are not handicapped).

I think Princess has the best beds........we found them really comfy. I agree RCI's not high on the comfy level. Next time ask them for a mattress cover or for a comforter under the sheets. It really helps.

I did that Rose (after the 3rd night) and it was great after that, man was our bed like a brick..... but I agree some cruise lines have much comfier mattresses.

On Princess we always ask for the foam Egg Crate pad for the bed. Works great.

The Carnival Comfort Bed works for me with nothing special added.

Do you think different category cabins have different beds (mattresses).... just a thought?

Not as far as I know. Never heard of that.

The comfort bed on the Carnival Miracle was by and far the best bed we have ever slept in. And, the pillow were just as yummy.

Jackie when RCI was changing the bedding on their ships a few years ago the mattress's were in the hallway on the Sovereign, no matter what floor they were all made by the same company. Now could they have been better quality in a suite.....beats me.

We've found Carnival to have the most comfy bedding/beds.
