  1. That does sound great. Unfortunately, we are in the same situation as Cheryl. We have a school-aged child, plus my husband is a teacher. So, I will have to live vicariously through you all. Thanks for organizing this, though.
  2. Hi Terri, As you estimate you will need 8-10 cabins, you might qualify as a group, which often (but not always) means better pricing. I highly suggest working with a TA who has experience booking groups on cruises. As the others have said, this is prime cruising season out of the Northeast. So, book as early as you can. Good luck, and let us know how it goes. (BTW, I am not a travel agent, either. )
  3. Thanks for the posting! I might sneak a peek at the ship when she's in Boston this week. I doubt I'll be able to get close, though. If only I could get on board... that main staircase is gorgeous!
  4. This is a super Web site... I'd seen it before but had forgotten the addy, so thank you for posting it. I see the ports will be a bit crowded on our February cruise to the Eastern Caribbean. Maybe it will be a chance to meet Crazies who will be on other ships.
  5. Bon voyage, jtutak! Enjoy Alaska and the Coral P.!
  6. Congratulations on your wedding, and may it be the first of many, many happy days you will share together. Honeymoon cruises are wonderful. Wishing you both a bon voyage!
  7. Rat, I am so sorry to hear about Hammy. For what it's worth, I think you made the right decision.
  8. I thought she was gone... If not, Welcome back, lindie11!
  9. I like this part, too. It will beat having to run all over the ship. :)
  10. There was a modest charge for the ceramics class on our Princess cruise in February. I believe it was to cover the cost of materials. There was a charge for computer classes, but it was still less than what we'd pay for similar classes at our local adult education center.
  11. So far, just Holiday out of Mobile, as jtutak noted to above.
  12. I use a TA, and either she or I book the airfare -- and insurance -- separately from the cruise company. I like knowing that there's someone there for me should something go awry. She really came through for our traveling companions on our last cruise when the line made an error.
  13. Welcome aboard, IBN2Cruizin! (Great screen name, by the way!)
