Ken wears a dark pin stripe suit and like a lot of the men here brings two dress shirts and two different ties. He is not a tux person and the only time I liked him in a tux is when the kids got married....I like him better in a dark suit.........He is sexier..............just imho

I made a mistake Cheryl. It is not Federal Highway it is the Comfort Suites on Stirling? If that is too far we absoultely understand as it a work and school night for you guys.............

Sounds like we will be seeing you again in January Cheryl........if you can make it............We booked the Comfort Suites/airport/port but I don't think it is the one on Davie. I think it is on N. Federal..they have the shuttle from the airport and to the port...Hope it is not too far for you Cheryl...Maybe we can do dinner the night before we leave.

We got a great deal on airline tickets from Newark to Ft. Lauderdale for our January cruise. We have never sailed out of Port Everglades and was wondering if anyone could suggest a reasonable hotel with shuttle service to the port? Thanks

Ken, There is nothing I can say that hasn't already been said but I want to add my support and prayers for you and your family. I hope this puts a big dent in Jamacian tourism and maybe they will wake up and deal with the crime there. We were told only to go to Jamacia if we were staying in an all inclusive resort and not leaving the premises. It makes us all much more of aware of our surrounding when we are on excursions off the ship. Take care and keep us posted as to how your family is doing and I hope this does not turn you off cruising........

We were never offered a welcome aboard drink except if we went to Lido and got Jucie or lemonade or coffee. (this is on Carnival)

Oh yes we always tip the person that brings our food. They depend on it

We are usually up and showered and on the balcony with coffee by 9ish..........then we head up to breakfast...we are almost always up by 7ish at home so 9ish is sleeping in to us.

We stayed at that Econolodge last August. It is very close to everything........The only thing I found outrageous was the price of Italian food. It was delish but way way overpriced. I asked the girl why and she said they have to import all the italian products. Make sure if you like italian food to eat in My cousin Vinnys. The maid of the mist was awesome. And don't forget to ride the skywheel............

Joey, I think on the Triumph there were speakers in the headboard. I think there was piped in music if you wanted it............
