  1. Joey, yes the article was a nice one on the Azamara Journey. Maybe one day, we'll give them a try.
  2. Great review Debbie! Glad you had a wonderful time too.
  3. MaryLou, congratulations on your new booking. The best part is that your cruise is only a few weeks away! Start packing! LOL
  4. Takes Crazies for the kind comments!
  5. Ckacola, have a great cruise on the Explorer of the Seas!
  6. In Ketchikan, if you mean the lumberjack's show, we've done it. You can do this on your own as it's only a block from the ship. . Juneau, you can take the very cheap $ local and empty bus to the glacier. We've taken the ship's tour 5 times and felt rushed so the last time we took the local bus. Skagway, if you take the train ride, make sure you sit on the left side going up. The sights are on the left. We've also done the gold dredge. It's mostly about how the device operated. Afterwards you have an opportunity to pan for preplanted flakes of gold. It was enjoyable. Victoria, you can hire a cab to the gardens and they will wait for you. The rest of the city you can do on your own. The last few times, I walked from Ogden Point(Pier) to town center. (20 minute walk) Sitka, you can definitely do it on your own. The raptor center is a little further out.
  7. I bought an American Tourister set last year and they only lasted two vacations. The plastic interior liners broke into small pieces plus the wheels broke. I just bought a cheap new set from Target.
  8. Mercedes, The only port in which we had a shore excursion was in St Petersburg. We used Denrus. In Copenhagen and Helsinski, we took the ship's shuttle to city center and explored. Amsterdam and Tallinn the ship docked only a few blocks from town center, so it was easy to see all the sights. Warnemunde - We didn't go to Berlin, but took the train to Rostock. We also explored Warnemunde which is a nice resort town by the ship. Check out my pictures........look at the four Europe albums and the St Petersburg one too. www.webshots.com/user/brownbearcub
  9. MaryLou, Crazie was caught eating cookie dough with her paws. She was only behind bars just long enough to take the picture. LOL
