I can't really see lobster not being offered on any cruise..........it's such a tradition. If it ever happens, I can picture a riot or food fight in the dining room!

I went to a NCL chocolate buffet once and it was a big disappointment. It was an afternoon buffet and only a hour long. Guess what.............I was in line for a hour. The line was soooo long and by the time I reached the buffet table, the food was gone or totally mangled. Never again!

The cocktail I'll be drinking during sailaway will be the one they are aggressively pushing...........a BahamaMama.

We've had inside cabins for around a third of our cruises. Besides the lower cost, we tend to sleep better in them because of the lack of wind noise and sunlight. Of our currently booked cruises, our cabin selections are: two insides, one outside and two balconies.

I would like to see cruises dedicated strictly to the Middle East (Israel, Eqypt, U.A.E., Yemen, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, etc). Costa sails in that region, but the reviews have been mixed. Always been interested in that area, hopefully my dreams will be fullfilled in 08.

Hi Crazies, sorry for the delay, but I finally finished the albums for the cruise and the two week land vacation in Paris and London. We had a great time but felt homesick after a couple of weeks. Enjoy the pictures. http://community.webshots.com/user/brownbearcub

Joey, I've seen the starboard version of 1201 and the balcony is very deep. Also, I have 1201 for my upcoming Mercury cruise in April and I will definitely take pictures for you.

Hi Mercedes, I'm not sure what days you are going to be in Paris but we will there (6/26 to 7/6) after our QM2 cruise to Norway. We leave for Europe in a week and would like to hook with you guys. Please let us know!

We've been on approximately 35 cruises with 5 currently booked. I think we'll be cutting back soon to one or two a year and sailing the longer exotics.

Can't tell by looking at the map, but we've been to Latvia and Lithuania.

I have friends who will not cruise due to fear of outbreaks of noro-virus. For us, I think the high cost of air will limit our number of cruises in the future.

Thanks Crazies for the great sendoff! I still have one more dreaded day of work and then I'll be cruising on my home away from home , the Mercury. LOL It will be my 6th sailing with her. This time I will be cruising solo but will hanging out with six friends that I've met on other cruises. Thanks again!

It all depends on the amount of ships in town. You have to remember that hundreds from each ship will be doing the ship's excursion. If your ship leaves late, there's an afternoon train available if you decide on the excursion.
