DW has to run around and get all the free little " gem stones " offered by the shops for little gifts for friends and relatives. I'm proud of her though, she doesn't get sucked into buying anything else.

Last time we just went to the shpping area by the dock. They hand out tickets for a free shot (very little alcohol in a very small glass) but it was still cool.

Never watched a movie on a cruise, to many other things to do. Then again, I don't watch movies at home either.

On NCL Majesty one of the entertainers stood on one hand and driddled a basketball with the other. He was pretty funny and I was very impressed with his athleticism but it was pretty silly.

I'm with Marylou. The stingrays in Grand Cayman were incredible. We brought our teen daughters the next year thinking they would love it. They did nothing but scream the whole time. Wife and I couldn't stop laughing.

We're going on our 4th RC cruise this month but I don't remember any pins. I would wear them on a cruiseline cap. Anytime I see someone with a cruise shirt, jacket, or hat I start talking cruising with them. Brightens my day right up.

This years cruise is paid for and next years is mostly paid for so they are safe. The Oasis cruise for 2010 we're looking at is in trouble, though.

We bargain hunt, so it doesn't matter to us. Just get me on the ship.

Cruising the 28th of October on JOS. Is there someplace to get a quick snack late at night like the Promenade Cafe or Sorrentos on the bigger ships? I remember NCL Majesty had the plce in the aft section where you could get burgers, hot dogs, pizza, etc.....

I got seasick once on NCL Majesty in rough seas but that's it.

Sorry, but what's a joke is people getting good service all week and getting stiffed on the last day because people blew they're money all week and they'll never see the crew again, anyway. Sad little people.
