  1. Talked to Jennifer today and was told that the ship is starting to fill, could be the really good rates!!! If you are still interested in this cruise and want to get in at the lowest prices, I was told that they are to jump soon by about $100 for a 4A, until June 19th our prices are set as long as you use the reference # that was posted earlier in this thread. There is a chance that this cruise could be sold out as it is the first time in years that Carnival has cruised to Bermuda.
  2. If you look real close at the school calender you might find that kids are on their Easter break as Easter falls late next year (April 16th). Then there is always the "It will be an educational experience" excuse. That is unless you are an educator.
  3. I'm going to guess that I wasn't thinking straight as I forgot to add that Jennifer works 11am to 8pm Monday thru Thursday and 9am to 6pm Friday. If you get her voice mail leave a message she will get back to you!! Chris H
  4. Okay if anyone is interested here are the numbers that give us a group, call Carnival (1-800-819-3902) ext 82965, this is Jennifer, reference # 5F82T5. The deposit is fully refundable until 3 Feb 06. So feel free to join us if you want. You can contact me if you have any questions. Chris H
  5. I am working with Jennifer Martins at Carnival and everything is good, she will block off as many cabins as we need and hold them at that price for thirty days(she said till June 19th) with out a deposit. If you want I will post a reference number, as soon as I get it, along with her phone number and ext. and she will take it from there. She said after the thirty days you can still be part of the group but are taking your chances on cabin of your choice. If anyone wants the offical email from her that was sent to me I will gladly forward it! Chris H ps sorry about mentioning military discount, it can't be combined with the group rate. Hope to hear from as many as possible - my email hamster92256######

  8. We had the early seating in a group of five tables, and from day one, only three couples showed up every night except one (Cozumel!!! ) We ended up having a great time and the service was at least twice as good.

  11. Okay everyone, I talked to my PVP at Carnival, and she is more than happy to work with us by blocking a set number of cabins, when we hit 15 full fares the 16th will be free. This is pretty much the standard, what we'll do is split that to bring the final cost down. There is also a $75/cabin on board ship credit. If you want to book early, as I am about to do, email me and I will give you the info on who to talk to so we can keep it togther. Chris H ps she also mentioned a military discount, email me for that information!!

  16. I grew up right across the sound from you in Glen Cove, we're now living just outside of Lake Placid, or the way I like to tell it is that we live so far north in NY even we think we are Canadian.

  20. I just want to let everyone know that I appreciate what Jason has done for this group adventure. My name is Chris(hamster92256), dw is Karen(kar1959), and we thought that it might be fun to get a group cruise together. A little history on this trip to start with, our first cruise was in January on the Carnival Valor for our 25th Anniversary, we spent almost a year planning it and as it turned out we had the best time of our lives!!! Everything from start to finish was exactly as we imagined it would be, not a single problem or complaint, unless you consider eating too much a problem. First day out we met and became friends with another couple, who we eventually spent most of our time with, they suggested Bermuda as they had been there before and enjoyed it. To make a long story short, within weeks of returning we were looking for a cruise to Bermuda in 2006. We were looking to sail out of the NE, Boston, NYC, or NJ, as they are all within driving distance from home. End of April or early May was our target date, general price range was anywhere from $800 to $1200, we didn't have to worry about airfare so that helped. As with most people who have had a fantastic time on their vacations we couldn't stop talking about it and the more we did the more our friends asked when we were going next and where were we going, and of course one thing led to another they said that they would like to go. Then I recieved an email from Carnival about this cruise to Bermuda and the dates fell right where we wanted them and the price was that much better than any others that I had seen, so that is how we got to this point. Anyone interested please post and or email me, I think that it would be great to get together a large group and have some fun!!! Chris H Just as a little side note, I am not and never have been connected with a cruise line and/or travel agency. In another post my wife and I will do introductions
