  7. I am all over the shipwhen we cruise so most anything that is discussed I have known about or done. I am then in a position to judge the worth of the review and the angle of the review.
  8. The Jersey boys is a hot show right now and for a few months more. There is a TKTS booth in times square with 1/2 price tickets to shows. They are also on line so you can look them up. If anyone needs any places to visit suggestions ask away.
  9. Just tell me what you are on time into the city and I can get a little more specific for a few days about the town.
  10. That would be a vacation in itself. Like going through the Panama Canal.
  11. Yes. There are a lot of companies that you could use. Try google and put in New York City Bus Tours. Second - no resturant recommends but.... Try this like for Deli's - http://www.10best.com/New_York,NY/Restaurants/Deli/ Now you should also do your own walk tour the first or second day. Start at the worl trade center area. Go south to the tip of Manhatten walking along the western side - looking to New Jersey. Down to the bottom you run into a few torist things there - bring extra storage for pictures on the cameras. Walk around the tip to just before the Staten Island ferry. Cut across to go up town. Mother Seton house is a good marker. Walk about the down town - you should have a small map of the downtown area. Go past the frderal building - watch out for the Japanese tourists. Wall st is right there - trinity church is up the street. This is a must go inside. From there up north 2 blocks then cut down and go to the east to the right side of Manhatten to south street seaport. From there you can weave your way up town through china town and little italy. Past the city hall. And Washington square park. Up into Herald square - where the Thanksgiving day parade ends. Maybe a side trip to the empire state building - maybe go to the top. Stay on Broadway and walk up town to times square. Go to the TKTS booth in times square and get 2 for 1 tickets for a show. Get you deli now. If it is for an evening performance. then after deli walk if 5th avenue to St. Patricks and across from that is Rockefeller plaza. I do not know if skating is going on yet. From there walk up town to lincoln center on 7th and 56th I think. Then into Central park... Do not go to Tavern on the green big rip off. Walk about the park - should have a small park layout map. When done be on the east side 5th avenue. Right at the plaza and 59th. If you have a lot of time 3 plus hours go to Metropolitan museum of art on 5th at about 80th. Take a subway back down town to 42nd st. See your play. Get an after play drink somewhere. Go to hotel - drop from exhaustion. Recover next day doing something easy - Ellis island Statue of liberty.
