I never worry about the time and if dinner gets in the way of drinking or just the reverse. Only one rule on a cruise - no drinking before noon. Well I broke that rule last cruise - but only 3 times. Well it was a 7 day cruise....... It's not like I drank a lot real quick but the drinks at the parties were just there. and I was still trying to cool off from being in the sun for an hours those days. Then trying to rehydrate myself. I did make sure there were at least two ice cubes in the drinks to provide some water. Well most of the hour was in the hot tub - but I counted that time - and then running about the ship working out in the early AM. Does playing lawn bowling in the shaded area count for being in the sun as we move from one side of the ship to another? I can't remember if i cruise now to drink or to drink because I am on a cruise. It is very confusing. What's in a number 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 9, whatever..... What was the question?????

Yes. They are big into that. But Celebrity has expanded the program - you can blind deposit of $100 now for a cruise. There is no date you have to specify for the booking and it get's you a $100 on board credit. So you win if you think you are ever going to cruise again.

Which makes me think about what they will do with Mercury and Century when the new builds hit.

The Ft. Lauderdale now has a lock box drop for your teen. Bring then to the pier for your cruise. They lock them in a box and feed them for you. $17.00 per day for the standard rate. $19.00 per day if you want them to have the upgrades menu. That is cheeze on the burger and jelly on the shadwich. $24.00 per day if you want to have a mattress provided. $1.00 extra for a pillow. Then thry really nickle and dime you..... ==================================== $3.00 per day if electricity is to be provided. $5.00 per day if they are to have TV at night - 4 hours only. $7.00 per day for 1 hours exercise. And so on..........

Just about even. I do a lot of BYOB - Rum and coke - while anywhere on or off ship. But I think it was about even this past trip with spending off the boat and on the boat. The Room credit also helped in that regard.

One of the places you have to see to believe. Not just the locks but the amount of ship traffic.

With the recent ship building innovations in the past 8 years this ship was so dates - it would not be worth their while to fix, fix, fix, fix to get it close to todays standards.

Plus Celebrity will have 2 more Solstice class ships beyond that. One scheduled for 2011 - Fall and one for 2012 - Fall. But they can, or so I think, a hold on the last two.

Hopefully someone smart has a clue about the amounts they are looking at and what areas they could discharge in. There should be something to make a balance. Best world they discharge in Port to the town facilities. Worst full discharge in inner passagway fouling the waters there. Find the correct balance with the natural ocean clensing.

Just wondering if your bed was by the balcony or by the bath? I have one booked on the same side/deck and wanted to try to determine which layout I will have. Thanks in advance for your reply. Mine was near the bathroom. The ones on each side of me were on the Balcony. So you count up or down and it should match where you wil be. Ever other one.
